Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join our team at one of our premium country pubs. As a key member of our kitchen team, you'll be responsible for running a section, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Section Management: Run a section of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standard and that the team is working efficiently.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook food to order, using fresh and seasonal ingredients.
  • Team Management: Mentor and train junior team members, providing guidance and support to ensure they reach their full potential.
  • Quality Control: Maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation, ensuring that all dishes meet our company's standards.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer feedback and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements

  • Chef Experience: A minimum of 1 year's experience as a chef in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Chef Qualifications: A recognized chef qualification, such as a City & Guilds or NVQ in culinary arts.
  • Team Management: Experience of managing a team, including mentoring and training junior team members.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to respond to customer feedback and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
