Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage student attendance, including tracking absences and communicating with parents and guardians as needed.
  • Process and maintain accurate records of student admissions, including updating student information systems and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other staff members to resolve attendance-related issues and implement strategies to improve student attendance.
  • Provide administrative support for attendance-related tasks, including data entry, reporting, and record-keeping.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a secondary school setting.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Education or a related field.
  • Experience with student information systems, including SIMS.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to student attendance and admissions.
