General Child Neurologist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated General Child Neurologist to join our rapidly expanding Division of Child Neurology at the University of Alabama Birmingham (UAB) School of Medicine.

Key Highlights:

  • Join a nationally ranked Division of Child Neurology with 11 pediatric neurologists and expertise in all aspects of pediatric neurology.
  • Enjoy a clinical schedule with great flexibility to focus on specific areas of interest and expertise aside from general neurology.
  • Participate in a clinical schedule of only 4 half-day clinics per week and about 6-8 weeks of inpatient service per year.
  • Opportunity to work with a team of experts in neuro-oncology and epilepsy.
  • Fellowship training is not required, but candidates with interest in areas such as movement disorders, neuromuscular diseases, clinical neurophysiology, neurodevelopmental, and neuroscience research are encouraged to apply.

Requirements:

  • Board eligible/certified child neurologists qualified for a medical license and certification in the state of Alabama.
  • Candidates with visa needs (J1 or H1B) are encouraged to apply.
