The Light-Ends Oil business at PVM Oil Associates Ltd is seeking a talented individual to join their London desk as a Trainee / Junior Broker. This exciting opportunity will involve supporting the broking of Light Ends contracts, including Naphtha or EBOB, and servicing customers in these markets to generate revenue.
Key Responsibilities:- Promote PVM Oil Associates Ltd and its services to existing and prospective clients.
- Maintain and develop strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities and cross-selling internal products.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, products, and clients, providing valuable insights and feedback to the team.
- On-board new clients, assess their needs, and identify internal cross-selling opportunities.
- Support a risk and compliance aware culture, adhering to group policies and regulations.
- Exercise independent judgment, act with integrity, and escalate issues as necessary.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, willing to break new ground in established markets.
- Clear interest or prior experience in Broking Commodities, preferably Oil.
- Understanding of the asset class Oil Broking.
- Exceptional client focus and delivery skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment, maintaining composure in challenging situations.
- Constructive handling of disagreements, reaching resolutions through open communication.
