Exciting Opportunity for a Part-Time Dental Nurse

Victoria Road Dental Practice Ltd is seeking a motivated and reliable part-time dental nurse to join our busy mixed practice. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high standards of surgery stock control and assist the dentist or hygienist with chairside support duties.
  • Show organisation, planning, and methodical approach to daily tasks, ensuring seamless patient care.
  • Maintain high standards of cross infection following HTM105 guidelines and adhere to all practice policies and procedures.
  • Establish and maintain productive working relationships with the dental team, ensuring a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Assist with reception duties and perform other clerical tasks as required.
  • Knowledge and application of a wide range of dental instruments and equipment relevant for dental procedures.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in dental nursing (required)
  • 2 years of experience in implants (preferred)
  • Motivation, flexibility, and excellent customer care skills
  • Excellent time-keeping and organisational skills
  • Excellent and caring communication skills

Benefits:

  • Company pension

Working Hours:

  • 22.5 - 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • 1 late night working on a rota system
