We are seeking experienced clinicians to join DS Associates as a Functional Assessor in Brighton. This role offers a unique opportunity to utilise your clinical skills and knowledge in a fast-paced environment, while enjoying an excellent work-life balance and professional development opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-year post-qualification experience and registration in the UK. As a Functional Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting assessments with customers to determine the impact of their disabilities on their daily lives and ability to perform work-related activities.

Comprehensive training will be provided to equip you with the necessary skills to support customers and transfer your current skills and knowledge to the required level. You will also have access to ongoing CPD, support with revalidation, and opportunities for career development within the organisation.

Requirements:

  • One year's post-registration experience as a nurse, occupational therapist, or physiotherapist
  • Fully registered with a relevant UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC, or other), without restriction or conditions, and with a valid PIN
  • Excellent observational and communication skills, enabling you to listen, empathise, and dig deeper
  • The ability to type at a minimum of 30 words per minute
