3D Capture and Smart Technologies Team Lead

AWE is seeking a highly skilled Team Lead to oversee the 3D Capture and Smart Technologies team, driving innovation and excellence in engineering.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of experts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading a team of engineers and technicians to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve team performance, productivity, and innovation.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
- Maintaining and promoting high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security, and quality.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong background in mechanical engineering, with a broad knowledge of engineering design and manufacture.
- Experience in managing small engineering projects and delivering to Quality, Time, and Cost.
- Good people skills, ability to work independently but also within a team, supporting colleagues to achieve the team's goals.
- Effective communication skills (written and oral), strong organisational and critical thinking skills.
