Location: Birmingham (relocating to Rowley Regis)
Hours: MON – THURS 7.45 – 4.45
FRI 7.45 – 12.45
Pay Rate: £28,000 - £34,000
We are currently recruiting for a Miller setter for our client in Birmingham. They are highly regarded when it comes to the makers of fine English hardware, they are designers and manufacturers of high-quality architectural hardware. Their products are found fitted to hotels, offices, schools and other public buildings, restoration projects, royal palaces and private houses around the world.

**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Milling machine setter and operator to join our team. As a CNC Miller Setter/Operator, you will be responsible for setting and operating milling machines, with the opportunity to be cross-compatible on the CNC section. Our machines include Nakamura (Fanuc control), Mazak (Mazatrol control), Feeler (Fanuc Control), and XYZ (Siemens control).

**Key Responsibilities**
• Mechanical set up and operation of a CNC vertical milling machines for small batch runs.
• Displaying high work standards and a strong desire to do well, as well as adhering to being an effective communicator at all levels of the business.
• Measurement of machined parts and adjustment of offsets to ensure the accuracy of the finished components.
• Monitoring of part quality throughout production runs
• Cleanliness and housekeeping on the section

**Requirements**
• A highly motivated individual who strives to achieve set targets in a timely manner.
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings and dimensional tolerances
• Good communication with team members and management
• Considered approach to accuracy and quality.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks and CAMWorks is a strong advantage.
