As an Electrical Engineer at Moy Park, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide effective engineering services to the production team to meet deadlines and targets.
  • Maintain equipment proactively and reactively to ensure optimal performance.
  • Improve equipment availability and performance by identifying and implementing improvements.
  • Utilize the PPM System (SAP) for accurate capture of engineering labor and parts.

Work Schedule

The working hours are 4 on/4 off days/nights, with shifts from 05:30 to 17:30 or 05:30. Alternatively, you may be required to work on the PPM weekend shift from 16:00 to 04:00.

Requirements

  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
  • Qualifications recognized in the UK.
  • Literacy/Numeracy skills at National Level 2 Standard.
  • Deliver high-quality work and maintain standards.
  • Cope under pressure and adapt to changing workloads.
  • Identify problems and provide effective solutions using available resources.
  • Make timely decisions with the corresponding level of urgency.
  • Possess strong personal and interpersonal skills.
  • Communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
  • Desirable experience in food processing industry, poultry processing machinery, lean techniques, and automated machinery.
  • Familiarity with PLC systems, fault finding, and SCADA Systems.
