TRS Staffing Solutions Role: Expeditor Location: Somerset

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Expeditor to join our team in Somerset. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of expediting project equipment and materials, with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interface with suppliers to progress materials, equipment, and documentation

• Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to ensure timely delivery of project materials

• Achieve delivery of equipment, materials, and documentation on time

• Liaise effectively with suppliers and clients to foster strong relationships

• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure on-time deliveries

• Close out purchase orders, files, and archive documents

• Build strong relationships with Contracts & Procurement and third-party suppliers

• Work closely with Materials Controllers to ensure receipt of project warehouse materials

• Maintain expediting reports and filing systems

• Assist in the PO close-out process

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have previous expediting experience, on-site, with a strong understanding of project logistics and supply chain management.
