About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Pharmacist to join our Research and Innovation Service at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality clinical pharmacy services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work as an independent prescriber to optimise medicine regimes for patients
  • Be part of a Research and Innovation team that delivers a consistently high clinical trials service
  • Act as a role model for and be responsible for developing core competencies of any Pharmacist working in the clinical trial setting
  • Work with the Lead Pharmacist for Medicines Utilisation regarding the operational management and strategic development of pharmaceutical services

Person Specification

Essential

  • Honours Degree in Pharmacy / MPharm
  • Registration with the GPhC as a pharmacist
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Pharmacy Practice or equivalent

Desirable

  • Non Medical Prescriber
  • Member of the Pharmaceutical Society
  • Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Certificate
