Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Education Teacher to join our team at a school in Lincolnshire. As a specialist in Physical Education, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality PE lessons to students in Key Stage 3 to 5.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and interactive PE lessons to students, promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of students, focusing on the development of knowledge and understanding of different sports and movements.
  • Collaborate with the PE department to contribute ideas on ways pupils can achieve their potential and develop their skills.
  • Uphold high expectations of students, implementing behavioral policies and ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Follow safeguarding procedures at all times, prioritizing the well-being and safety of students.
  • Cover some lessons in IT, as required.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a specialist in Physical Education.
  • Experience in secondary schools, with a strong understanding of the curriculum and teaching methods.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Satisfactory references.
  • Child-only enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to undertake one).
What We Offer:
  • A daily rate of £130-£150, with no planning responsibilities.
  • Support through CPD training from the National College.
  • Assignment of a consultant to assist with needs and offer new opportunities once the commitment is finished.
