Job Title: Care Assistant

Bluebird Care Pontypridd is a leading homecare provider in Wales, committed to delivering high-quality care services to our customers. We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic Care Assistant to join our team in making a genuine difference to the lives of others.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Care Assistant to provide personal care duties, prompting and administering medication, manual handling, and promoting customer health, well-being, and independence. As a Care Assistant, you will work closely with our customers to understand their needs and preferences, providing tailored care and support to enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities:
  • Providing personal care duties, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prompting and administering medication, as required
  • Manual handling, using equipment where necessary
  • Promoting customer health, well-being, and independence
  • Food preparation, domestic duties, and shopping
Requirements:
  • Full and valid UK driving licence
  • Access to a car
  • Right to work in the UK - Candidates must have the right to work in the UK and reside locally
  • Excellent level of English
