Principal Consultant Job Description

Circana is seeking a highly skilled Principal Consultant to join our Retail team. As a key member of our team, you will utilize your extensive industry knowledge to provide valuable insights to our clients, driving business growth through inspiring insight and superb interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the Circana innovation pipeline by leveraging your knowledge of client needs and our solutions.
  • Develop a clear understanding of our clients' ranging and merchandising processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Articulate a compelling value proposition for Circana solutions, establishing trusted partner status with clients through a consultative approach.
  • Accountable for the delivery of contracted services to clients and identification of incremental opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Experience in working with retailers or for a retailer on Ranging and Merchandising, with a strong understanding of their processes.
  • Ability to influence and drive solutions and capability within a busy retail environment.
  • Excellence in relationship building and able to confidently act in a consultative capacity with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience of working within a retail environment and a demonstrated passion for retail.
  • Ability to coach a team in the use of data to create compelling actions through a detailed storytelling approach.

This position can be located in the following area(s): Leeds/Bradford, 3 days per week. Occasional travel to Bracknell office.
