Role Overview

As a Homebased Functional Assessor, you will conduct assessments to evaluate claimants' health and daily living activities. You will review medical evidence, health questionnaires, and daily living activities to compile detailed reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments via phone and face-to-face to understand claimants' health conditions and daily challenges.
  • Review medical records and write comprehensive reports.
  • Provide recommendations based on thorough assessments.
Training Program

Successful candidates will complete a 5-week comprehensive homebased training program covering assessment techniques, DWP guidelines, and report writing skills.

Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-year post-qualification.
  • Registration: Must have at least 1 year of active registration with NMC or HCPC.
  • Skills: Strong communication, proficient typing, and excellent IT skills are essential.
