This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and teaching of our undergraduate and postgraduate programs, focusing on Building Information Modelling, Building Simulation and Digital Twin, Digital Construction, and the Application and Integration of AI in Digital Construction.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality teaching and research in the subject area, with a strong focus on Building Information Modelling, Building Simulation and Digital Twin, Digital Construction, and the Application and Integration of AI in Digital Construction.
- Contribute to the development of our undergraduate and postgraduate programs, ensuring they remain relevant and aligned with industry needs.
- Engage in research activities, developing internationally recognized research programs and publishing in top-tier journals.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the school's research strengths and expand its research portfolio.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong research profile, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. A first degree in civil engineering and a PhD in a relevant subject are highly desirable. Candidates with extensive industrial experience who do not currently hold a PhD are also encouraged to apply. Familiarity with the UK higher education system and external accreditation processes is an advantage.
