Learning Technologist Opportunity

Signature Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Learning Technologist to join our client, a prestigious London University. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in supporting the implementation, development, and delivery of technology-enhanced teaching and learning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, implement, and evaluate learning and teaching technologies, multimedia resources, and e-learning materials
  • Advise on, develop, test, and maintain teaching and learning resources using various systems and e-learning resources
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the university to evaluate and seek solutions to improve the staff and student experience
  • Contribute to developing training and support materials for teaching staff and students, including delivering content via workshops and supporting the production of educational video content
  • Ensure compliance with accessibility guidelines, GDPR, data retention, copyright, and ethical standards
  • Perform other administrative duties to assist the team and wider University, including developing a network of contacts and participating in collaborative projects
Requirements:
  • Excellent understanding of e-learning technologies in a Higher Education setting
  • Good communication skills to explain complex technical topics to students, staff, and academics
  • Proactive, self-motivated, with good organization for project and time management, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Highly proficient IT skills, including experience with MS Office 365 Apps, SharePoint, and Teams, and extensive understanding and experience of VLE systems
