Wellbeing Instructor

Fusion Lifestyle is seeking a highly skilled Physical Activity Referral Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our exercise referral program, you will play a crucial role in educating customers about the importance of exercise in improving overall health and wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 Exercise on Referral qualification, First Aid at Work Certificate, and experience of delivering classes in a comparable role. CIMSPA membership is desirable but not essential.

You will work closely with the Exercise on Referral and Cardiac Rehabilitation Manager to support visits to GP surgeries and assist with the Programme's work and objectives. Your strong teamwork skills, focus on accuracy and quality, drive for achievement, and self-confidence with a positive approach to change will make you an ideal candidate.

• Work in accordance with procedures set out in the National Quality Assurance Framework (NQAF) for Exercise Referral Schemes
• Support the Exercise on Referral and Cardiac Rehabilitation Manager with visits to GP surgeries, and assist with the Programme's work and objectives
• Establish and maintain good relationships with participants, motivating and encouraging them to adhere to a regular physical activity program
• Conduct pre and post-program assessments of participants and devise appropriate activity plans for each individual
• Refer participants to the Health Trainer where necessary
• Ensure that appropriate standards of conduct are maintained at all times
• Assist in promoting the Programme's services and communicate with stakeholders
• Contribute to the development of the Exercise on Referral Program through innovative ideas
• Be aware of your role in managing emergencies, reporting accidents, and defects as required
• Handle complaints in a sensitive manner, promptly and politely, in accordance with Fusion's guidelines
• Take personal responsibility for all hygiene, health, and safety policies and procedures relevant to your position, while on shift

• Estimated salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience
