Care and Support Assistant

We are seeking a Relief Support Worker to join our team at MacIntyre, providing support to young people with Autism and Learning Disabilities in our children's home in Leighton Buzzard.
This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of young people, helping them develop essential life skills and enhance their independence as they transition into adulthood.
The role involves working on outdoor adventures, trips to the cinema, and exploring new places, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to young people with Autism and Learning Disabilities
- Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care and household tasks
- Engage in outdoor activities and social events
Requirements:
- Demonstrate compassion and understanding when working with vulnerable individuals
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Hold a clean, full UK manual driving licence
