About the Role:
The Elizabeth School of London is seeking a highly skilled English Language Support Tutor to join our team of Study Support Advisors. As an English Language Support Tutor, you will provide English language support to students whose first language is not English.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver teaching in a variety of learning settings, including seminars, small group tutorials, and lectures, using appropriate and engaging teaching styles.
- Create English language resources to be shared with students, including materials tailored to help with their particular courses.
- Provision of regular consultation hours for students needing help with writing and presentation skills.
- Deliver support to students to enhance their learning, including through 1:1 English support appointments.
- Offer appropriate advice, feedback, and encouragement to students to ensure a high-quality student experience.
- Design and deliver language support workshops.
Requirements:
- TESOL/CELTA or other English teaching qualification.
- Experience in teaching English language with relevant delivery, assessment, and student support.
- Demonstrable organisational and personal management skills.
- Demonstrable interpersonal and communication skills.
