Job Title: EC&I Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled EC&I Project Engineer to join our team at Booth Welsh Ltd. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical and instrumentation engineering, with experience in project management and supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee on-site activities, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
  • Review contractor Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) to ensure adherence to safety standards.
  • Draft Work Orders that align with the site's health and safety policies and Electrical & Mechanical Safety Rules.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and relevant legal regulations.
  • Assist the Project Manager in daily tasks, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives are met.
  • Facilitate and lead meetings as needed, maintaining all necessary engineering documentation.
  • Produce technical specifications and support contractor selection, ensuring contracts are awarded appropriately.
  • Assess technical documentation, including contractor submissions, designs, and drawings.
  • Manage technical queries in line with established procedures.
  • Conduct technical evaluations of project options, including feasibility studies, site surveys, and consultations with designers and engineering teams.
  • Prepare commissioning documents and serve as a test team leader when required.
Requirements:
  • SMSTS certification preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in nuclear plant operations and fuel route management.
  • Knowledge of AMS and work order processes.
  • Ability to mentor a Junior PE as part of the project team.
