About the Role
The Lancet Regional Health – Europe is an Open Access journal under The Lancet's global health initiative. It focuses on improving healthcare quality and access globally.
Responsibilities
- Contributing critically to the selection of the journal content.
- Writing editorials, organizing peer review of research articles and reviews, and conducting webinars and podcasts with authors and key opinion leaders.
- Commissioning content to build our journal's profile among the communities we serve and handling special project content.
- Developing and maintaining links with the regional health community to solicit high-quality research and thought leadership for the journal.
- Attending conferences and events, identifying suitable topics and authors, and keeping up-to-date with current developments in regional health.
Requirements
- Have relevant qualifications in clinical or biomedical science, public health, global health, or related fields. A medical degree (MD) or a PhD and post-doc research experience in a relevant discipline is an added advantage.
- Be accustomed to diversity and working globally and can connect with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
- Enjoy collaborating with teams to deliver successful projects and initiatives on time.
- Have a natural ability to engage, influence and build relationships with stakeholders, teams and our community.
