The Commission on Human Medicines (CHM) is seeking an expert member to join the Paediatric Medicines Expert Advisory Group (PMEAG). This group provides impartial advice to Ministers on matters related to the regulation of medicines used for paediatric use.
The ideal candidate will have current employment as a general practitioner in a practice that includes the diagnosis and management of children (0-18 years). They should be willing to develop a working knowledge and understanding of the UK medicines framework and procedures.
The successful candidate will be recognised by their peers as a leader in their field and be able to assimilate and interpret complex scientific information. They will also be able to formulate evidence-based comments and advice at short notice.
This is a part-time, flexible working opportunity with the option to work from home or remotely.
