We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Radiographer to join our team at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, part of East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. As a Therapy Radiography Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in providing leadership, guidance, and support to junior staff members.

You will be responsible for managing Therapy Radiography staff, coordinating clinical workload, monitoring equipment serviceability, and contributing to the maintenance of high-quality departmental standards.

About the Role

• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to junior staff members
• Manage Therapy Radiography staff, coordinate clinical workload, and monitor equipment serviceability
• Contribute to the maintenance of high-quality departmental standards
• Participate in clinical audit, research, and development
• Deputise for Superintendent Radiographers as required

Requirements

• Degree in Radiotherapy (DCR(T) or BSc) and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HPC)
• Experience at Band 6 Radiographer level, with evidence of supervisory experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure

What We Offer

• An annual salary of £55,000 - £65,000, depending on experience
• A High-Cost Area Supplement of 15% of basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £4,314 and a maximum payment of £5,436 per annum pro rata
