Overview

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor with experience in New House Building to manage costs and ensure commercial success.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to leverage your skills in contract procurement, cost analysis, and risk assessment to deliver high-quality projects.

Responsibilities
  1. Tender and Contract Management: Prepare and evaluate tender documents, including bills of quantities, to ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
  2. Variation Analysis: Evaluate and negotiate variations in contracts to minimize financial risks and ensure project delivery within budget.
  3. Cost Control: Perform thorough cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work to optimize resource allocation and minimize expenses.
  4. Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential threats and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  5. Contractual Claims: Provide expert advice on contractual claims to resolve disputes efficiently and effectively.
  6. Project Monitoring: Regularly monitor project progress to ensure quality standards are met and deliverables are completed on time.
Requirements
  1. Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in New House Building.
  2. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in all aspects of contract management.
  3. Strong knowledge of contract procurement and negotiation to secure favorable terms and conditions.
What We Offer

A competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, to reflect your skills and expertise in contract negotiation and management.
