Finance Assistant

At JEM Childcare Solutions, we are seeking a highly skilled Finance Assistant to join our Finance Team. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Finance and be responsible for a range of financial tasks, including banking, cash flow forecasting, and debtors management.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out daily bank reconciliation
- Prepare accurate short-term cash flow forecasts
- Ensure debtors on Family and Xero reconcile and customer accounts are allocated correctly
- Generate payment runs for approval of Head of Finance when required
- Act as a gatekeeper to ensure all transactions are supported with an invoice
- Assist in audit responses in relation to queries for areas of responsibility
- Process development and improvement projects impacting treasury activities
- Support payroll activities
- Support purchase ledger with posting, ordering, and inbox management if required
- Assist with day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable
- Provide administrative support to the finance team
