Job Title: Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant (Temp to Perm)

Location: Various Schools Across Devon & Cornwall

Contract Type: Temporary with potential for permanent placement

Salary: £90+ a day

We are a local education recruitment agency, currently looking for passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work with schools across Devon and Cornwall on a temporary basis. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide support to students with special educational needs, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans, and provide one-to-one support to students as needed. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support to students with special educational needs in a variety of settings, including classrooms, playgrounds, and other school environments.

• Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans for students with special educational needs.

• Provide one-to-one support to students as needed, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.

• Assist with the implementation of behavior management strategies and provide support to students who require additional help with behavior.

• Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure that students receive the support they need to succeed.

• Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular updates to teachers and other stakeholders.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other stakeholders.

• A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work in a variety of settings and with students of different ages and abilities.

• A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
