Glos, a reputable project management consultancy based in Cheltenham, provides services to prominent clients in the Food & Beverage, Logistics, Storage and Distribution sectors.
The company boasts an impressive portfolio of high-profile clients, including Charlie Bigham's, Tyrell's crisps, and Bloom & Wild. As a result, they are currently seeking a skilled Part Time Finance Co-ordinator to join their dynamic team.
Role OverviewThis part-time position will assist the Head of Finance in operating a smooth and efficient finance function. Key responsibilities include:
- Verifying and processing supplier and subcontractor invoices.
- Ensuring accuracy in verifying subcontractors within the CIS scheme and issuing monthly CIS statements.
- Responding to accounts queries from clients and suppliers in a prompt and professional manner.
- Managing the finance inbox, addressing all inquiries, and maintaining effective communication channels.
- Matching and reconciling corporate credit card transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Conducting regular supplier statement reconciliations on a monthly and periodic basis.
- Initiating the preliminary stages of the credit control process, including raising significantly overdue payments.
- Providing support during the monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting processes, which includes:
Candidates must have prior experience in financial administration to be considered for this role. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are crucial in this position.
The working hours are negotiable, with approximately 5 hours per week required. The salary range for this position is £25,000 - £29,000 per annum, pro rata.
