Procurement and Stores Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a Procurement and Stores Specialist to join our team at State Government of Victoria, Australia. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring compliance with financial management policies and procedures.

The successful applicant will have a solid understanding of procurement principles and practices, with experience in managing complex procurement processes. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

In this role, you will be working closely with other teams to ensure the smooth delivery of corporate services, including warehouse operations, finance support, purchasing, procurement, stock and inventory control, and working in prisoner shops. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to problem-solving, with a focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
