About this role

We are seeking a skilled Enforcement Agent to join our team in Barking and Dagenham. As an Enforcement Agent, you will play a crucial role in enforcing Warrants and Liability orders for outstanding debt owed to the Council.

Key responsibilities

  • Enforce Warrants and Liability orders for outstanding debt owed to the Council
  • Provide ethical enforcement throughout the Borough and adjacent postcodes
  • Manage your own case management, undertaking necessary research and due diligence
  • Develop relationships with other departments within the Council to maximise positive outcomes
  • Signpost vulnerable residents to support services

Requirements

  • Hold a current Enforcement Agents' certificate
  • Be prepared to work out of hours and weekends if required
  • Be able to work outside in all weather conditions
