The successful candidate will be a confident and effective communicator, able to build relationships with young people, their families, and other professionals. You will have a sound knowledge of the criminal justice system and an understanding of the challenges facing young people who are at risk or have been in trouble.
- Be a confident presenter and be able to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, including young people, parents, caregivers, and other professionals.
- Build strong relationships with young people, based on trust, empathy, and respect.
- Work with young people to identify their goals and develop action plans to support them to achieve these goals.
- Provide guidance and support to young people to help them make informed choices and develop their skills and confidence.
- Work in collaboration with other professionals, including social workers, probation officers, and police officers, to provide a comprehensive support package for young people.
As a Youth Caseworker with Ingeus, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people. You will be part of a dedicated and passionate team that is committed to helping young people turn their lives around and achieve their goals.
Requirements:
- Experience of working with young people who are at risk of offending or who have already been in trouble with the law.
