We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Youth Caseworker to join our team in the East Midlands/West Midlands area. As a Youth Caseworker, you will be responsible for working with young people who are at risk of offending or who have already been in trouble with the law.



The successful candidate will be a confident and effective communicator, able to build relationships with young people, their families, and other professionals. You will have a sound knowledge of the criminal justice system and an understanding of the challenges facing young people who are at risk or have been in trouble.




  • Be a confident presenter and be able to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, including young people, parents, caregivers, and other professionals.
  • Build strong relationships with young people, based on trust, empathy, and respect.
  • Work with young people to identify their goals and develop action plans to support them to achieve these goals.
  • Provide guidance and support to young people to help them make informed choices and develop their skills and confidence.
  • Work in collaboration with other professionals, including social workers, probation officers, and police officers, to provide a comprehensive support package for young people.


As a Youth Caseworker with Ingeus, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people. You will be part of a dedicated and passionate team that is committed to helping young people turn their lives around and achieve their goals.



Requirements:




  • Experience of working with young people who are at risk of offending or who have already been in trouble with the law.
  • Sound knowledge of the criminal justice system and an understanding of the challenges facing young people who are at risk or have been in trouble.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, including young people, parents, caregivers, and other professionals.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with young people.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals, including social workers, probation officers, and police officers.
