Technical Business Analyst (SQL) Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst with expertise in SQL to join our team at Client Server. As a Technical Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in collaborating with various teams to understand their requirements and design solutions to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Critically evaluate information from multiple sources to inform business decisions
  • Act as the conduit between the client and development team / 3rd party vendor to ensure effective communication
  • Design and document solutions to meet business needs
  • Oversee the implementation and configuration of solutions to ensure successful delivery
  • Facilitate clear communication across business units to update on progress, compromises, and delivery timescales

About You:

  • You have strong Business Analyst / Project Management experience within a finance environment
  • You have a good understanding of a range of asset classes, including Fixed Income, Commodities, Equities, and FX
  • You have advanced requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation skills
  • You have strong SQL skills, including advanced queries and joins
  • You have experience collaborating with software development teams across the full lifecycle, ideally including testing
  • You are collaborative and pragmatic with excellent written and verbal communication skills
