About the Role


This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and dedicated maintenance specialist to join our team in a heavy engineering plant environment. As a Mechanical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering both reactive and preventative maintenance tasks, following routine planned maintenance schedules and ensuring all tasks are completed to relevant deadlines.



Key Responsibilities



  • Deliver both reactive and preventative maintenance in a heavy engineering plant environment
  • Follow routine planned maintenance schedules
  • Responsible for own workload and ensure all tasks are completed to relevant deadlines
  • Carry out pipework fabrication, installations & replacement across the site to agreed plans
  • Basic hydraulic, welding and pipefitting skills required
  • Days only role with a competitive salary of £38,000 - £42,000 per annum (dependent on experience)


Required Skills and Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • Mechanical maintenance experience within a heavy industry
  • Recognised engineering qualification
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
