Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Eyewear Sales Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for assisting customers in finding and selecting eyewear that meets their needs.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is around £25,000 - £30,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in finding and selecting eyewear that meets their needs.
  • Perform pre-screening eye examinations and administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and processing payments.
  • Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with customers.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge about our optical products and services, including frames, lenses, and contact lenses.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the success of the store.

Requirements

  • Great communication and rapport building skills to translate professional terminology into language understandable to patients.
  • Able to work as part of a team, with colleagues across the whole store.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of our optical products and services, including frames, lenses, and contact lenses.
