Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Commercialisation Manager to join our team in Andover, on a 15-month fixed-term contract. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of supply chain and product development, driving business growth through agile partnerships and innovative sourcing strategies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for making 'make or buy' decisions, managing end-to-end scoping, set up, and implementation of products/services essential to meeting key deliverables. They will connect and liaise across functions to ensure seamless supply of innovation products, working closely with senior leadership teams and global teams.
This role requires a deep understanding of end-to-end sourcing processes in an international FMCG organisation, market dynamics, and sound business judgement. The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of relevant operations/supply chain experience, preferably with international sourcing experience.
Key Responsibilities- Supply Chain Workstream Management: Take overall responsibility for the supply chain workstream, including management and coordination of the end-to-end implementation of 3rd party sourcing to the point of commercialisation and handing over to 'business as usual' operations.
- Negotiation and Partnership Building: Establish great partnerships with R&I to identify trends in the innovation pipeline and enable proactive exploration of future capability needs/gaps vs. our existing Supply Chain footprint.
- Network Development and Analysis: Continuously look outside and analyse industry trends and evolving technology to proactively identify emerging opportunities and build our 3rd party network and knowledge.
This role also involves creating a 3rd party roadmap aligned to Markets' 5-year innovation strategy, working with cross-functional and Market stakeholders as well as suppliers to reach best overall business solutions, and representing supply chain at Steering meetings and other stakeholder meetings.
Required Skills and Qualifications- At least 3+ years of relevant operations/supply chain experience in an FMCG organisation
- Experience with contract manufacturing suppliers
- Strong preference for international sourcing experience
- Proven track record in challenging the status quo & delivering results
- Excellent relationship building skills and proven stakeholder management skills
