Manufacturing Engineer

An exciting chance to join a leading technology solutions provider has arisen; the company is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer based in Luton.
The company offers a comprehensive range of vertically integrated design and manufacturing solutions with a focus on medium volume and high mix product profiles.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop quotations for Electronic Assemblies.
- Create work instructions to improve production processes.
- Produce customer required reports on RoHS, Conflict, Minerals, Lifecycle, Obsolescence and Counterfeit risk.
- Manage product configuration through Engineering Change Notice (ECN) and concession management.
- Ensure the agreed New Production Introduction (NPI) process is followed.
- Provide robust estimated labour times for the assembly of new products.
- Degree qualified or relevant experience in a similar role.
- Strong Surface Mount Technology (SMT) manufacturing skills.
- Experience of using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and databases.
- Demonstrable experience of managing multiple projects.
- Electro-mechanical knowledge is a distinct advantage.
