Group Reporting Accountant (Qualified Only)

Join a leading company in sustainable water, climate, and ventilation products for built environments as a Group Reporting Accountant. This role is part of the Central Finance team within the Group Finance Function.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce the Group's consolidated monthly management accounts and finance pack, including comprehensive analysis, variances to budget, and forecasts.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts for payroll costs across the Group and share-based payments, ensuring full integrity of the balance sheet.
  • Liaise with the tax team and advisors on share-based payment schemes and provide accurate information on a timely basis.
  • Collaborate with all areas of finance to ensure divisions have validated their monthly results and manage issue resolutions.
  • Work with group auditors to ensure subsidiary audits progress in line with the reporting timetable and confirm key deadlines are met.
  • Assist in preparing the Group Annual Report and Accounts, trading statements, interim reports, and investor presentations.
  • Be accountable for the full end-to-end preparation of subsidiary statutory accounts, through audit sign-off and delivery to Companies House, working alongside the Company Secretarial team.
  • Contribute to a robust end-to-end Financial Control framework, implementing appropriate procedures, processes, and controls.
  • Identify and provide effective solutions for continual process improvement, driving automation of processes.
  • Support the development of the current reporting suite to dashboard analytics.
  • Prepare a draft monthly forecast and annual budget for group payroll and share-based payments, including valuation of new schemes.
  • Assist in managing and collating the annual consolidated Group budget and five-year plan and associated reporting packs.
  • Be responsible for CAPEX and expenses system across the Group.
  • Lead on ad-hoc project work with the Reporting team.
Essential Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with post-qualification experience.
  • Working in a PLC/Stock Exchange Listed company.
  • Audit background in practice.
