Financial Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Accountant to join our team at Kenton Black Ltd. As a key member of our accounting function, you will report directly to the Financial Controller and be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day running of the Accounts Department.
Main Responsibilities- Assist in the production of monthly management accounts in a timely and accurate manner.
- Complete weekly and monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure all balances are known and correct.
- Manage the ledger, including monthly payroll, and reconcile off-sales documents daily.
- Verify sales commissions and update daily estimates vs actuals.
- Reconcile bonus debt and chase up any outstanding bonus payments.
- Process EMAC statements and reconcile eBay, Shopify, and Amazon accounts.
- Optimize our systems to ensure efficient use and supervise the purchase ledger to ensure timely invoice processing.
- Run monthly suppliers BACS and supervise the sales ledger to ensure debt collection.
- Hold weekly debtors meetings with managers and communicate effectively with department managers on financial matters.
- Prepare daily cash flow forecasts and cover weekly forecasts in the absence of the Financial Controller.
