Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Communications Improvement Officer to join our Support and Improvement team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our stakeholders have the information they need to deliver well-run elections.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee communications to internal and external stakeholders to inform them about our work.
  • Administer the collection and collation of engagement data to support the monitoring of performance standards and to enable us to assess preparation for electoral events.
  • Coordinate consultation activities for the team on various improvement initiatives.
  • Lead plans, organization, and administration of meetings, events, team activities, and intranet pages to maintain connectivity and engagement across the team.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communications with the ability to distill complex information into clear and accessible formats (both text and numerical).
  • Experience in tailoring information to suit different audiences.
  • Comfortable building stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to manage simultaneous projects.
  • Maintain enthusiasm and meticulous attention to detail in fast-paced settings.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Experience working in a public or third sector organization is desirable.
