Are you looking for a challenging role in mental health services? We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 7-8a development psychologist to join our Forensic Psychology Team at the Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

Job Summary

This is a permanent, full-time position with 37.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will be based within the women's low secure service at our Leeds site, Newsam Centre. The team provides assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for women with complex mental health needs linked to their offending behaviours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist psychological services to staff and service users on the low secure women's ward.
  • Work closely with nursing teams and allied health professionals to develop and implement low-level psychological interventions.
  • Conduct psychologically informed risk assessments and formulations alongside the Multi-Disciplinary Team.
