About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Secondary Supply Teacher to join our dynamic team at Randstad Education. As a Cover Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of secondary school settings, delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students aged 11-16 years old.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences across a range of subjects and year groups, following the school's curriculum and lesson plans.
  • Provide cover and deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and school staff.
  • Adapt teaching strategies and resources to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of students in different classrooms.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure consistency in curriculum delivery and student support.
Requirements
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (no sponsorship provided).
  • Provide 2 professional references.
  • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one through Randstad.
  • Relevant qualifications, including a degree and teaching qualifications (e.g., PGCE).
  • Essential experience of teaching in a secondary setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the Secondary curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Strong commitment and a positive attitude towards the role and objectives.
