Role Overview

Shire Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HCPC registered psychologist to join our specialist secure service in North Hampshire. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work with sex offenders who present with an intellectual disability and autism, conducting evidence-based psychological assessments and therapeutic interventions in both individual and group settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions in a 121 and group setting
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of service policies and procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • HCPC registration as a Clinical, Counselling or Forensic Psychologist
  • Experience working with sex offenders and individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care
