About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Cleaning Operative to join our team at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our mail centres and facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Operate a variety of cleaning equipment and machinery, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and cleaning solutions.
- Empty bins, dust surfaces, and sanitize high-touch areas to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria.
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve cleaning schedules and deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and managers to report any issues or concerns.
About You
We are looking for someone who is naturally friendly, with good written and verbal communication skills. Previous cleaning experience is desired, but not essential. You will be able to work on your own initiative, organizing your own time, as you will be managed remotely.
