JOB TITLE: Licensed Aircraft Technician

We're looking for a skilled Licensed Aircraft Technician to work at Shorterm Group in Manchester. In this role, you'll perform various duties related to maintaining aircraft in accordance with Part 145 requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execute maintenance checks, validate results, and maintain accurate records.
  • Evaluate complex issues, address them effectively, and provide solutions.
  • Develop comprehensive maintenance schedules to optimize efficiency and resource allocation.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and management regarding ongoing projects and performance indicators.
  • Identify training opportunities to improve individual skills and advance the department's capabilities.
  • Enhance work quality, timeliness, and safety, while meeting business objectives.
  • Maintain adherence to regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Promote positive relationships between teams and across departments.

Job Requirements:

  • Hold a valid EASA Part 66 Category B1 License.
  • Have knowledge of maintenance operations, standard operating procedures, and industry-specific regulations.
  • Be able to lift heavy equipment, climb stairs, and navigate confined spaces safely.
  • Successful candidates should demonstrate proficiency in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication.
  • Team-oriented, flexible, and strong leadership abilities are also required.

Compensation Package: £50,000 - £70,000 annually, depending on qualifications
