About the Role:

CV-Library's Pupil Referral Unit in Lichfield is seeking an exceptional SEN teacher to join our team.

This role requires a passionate educator who can tailor their teaching approach to meet the unique needs of each student, fostering a culture of inclusivity, respect, and academic excellence.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Adapt the curriculum to meet the diverse needs of students, ensuring they receive a high-quality education.
  2. Develop and deliver engaging lessons that cater to various learning styles, promoting a love of learning in students.
  3. Regularly monitor pupil progress, identifying areas for improvement and informing targeted interventions.
  4. Cultivate a positive classroom environment that prioritises mutual respect, empathy, and understanding among students.
  5. Implement effective strategies to de-escalate conflicts and promote positive relationships between students.
  6. Embark on a therapeutic approach to teaching, incorporating methods that enhance social communication, sensory processing, and overall student well-being.
Compensation:
  • Competitive salary range: £30,000-£46,525 per annum (dependent on experience).
