Job Title: Commercial Project Manager

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Contracts Manager to join our client, a leading fit-out company delivering high-end projects across Ireland and the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the financial monitoring and control of contracts, maintaining Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality compliance, and achieving the company's objectives.

About the Role:
The Contracts Manager will oversee the financial aspects of contracts, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management. They will work closely with the site team to ensure compliance with company commercial policies and procedures, attending tender handover meetings and delivering pre-start meetings as required. A key responsibility will be to implement the risk management process, review risk registers, and check risk controls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan projects and ensure they are programmed to a level of detail necessary for the site team to deliver the scheme without delays.
  • Ensure procurement and reconciliation of materials is carried out in accordance with company procedures to best value and to prevent delays.
  • Attend tender handover meetings and deliver pre-start meetings to the site team.
  • Implement the risk management process, review risk register and check risk controls.
  • Review the CVRs monthly with the project teams, implementing necessary actions.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have previous experience on £20-£30M plus projects, particularly in the hospitality sector. A strong understanding of commercial policies and procedures, along with excellent communication and leadership skills, is essential. In addition, the ability to produce and analyze progress reports, updated costs, and forecasts is critical to this role.

Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this position is up to £75,000 + annual bonus, car allowance, healthcare, and pension.
