Job Title: Repairs Supervisor

United Living Group is a leading provider of infrastructure, construction, and property services in the UK. We are seeking a skilled Repairs Supervisor to join our team and contribute to our mission of creating a connected, sustainable future.

Job Summary:

The Repairs Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that client properties are maintained and works are delivered within contractual time frames. This will involve managing a team of operatives, ensuring excellent customer experience, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of operatives to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance works
  • Ensure excellent customer experience through effective communication and issue resolution
  • Maintain high standards of quality and safety through regular inspections and audits
  • Collaborate with the Contracts Manager to improve KPIs and optimize team performance
  • Record and report on work progress, including scheduling and cost estimation
  • Assist in ensuring work is correctly allocated to operatives and subcontractors
  • Effectively manage and control the team, monitoring performance and implementing UL policies
  • Ensure each job is completed within target, maximizing productivity and minimizing costs
  • Monitor 'work in progress' daily and report back to the Administration Teams as required
  • Record all information relating to repairs on DWP and update daily
  • Measure team member and subcontractor output and report back weekly on performance against target
  • Assist the Contract Manager in dealing with snagging, complaints, and recall tasks
  • Ensure all staff and subcontractors are aware of and receive training in relevant H&S issues
  • Chair and record tool box talks on a monthly basis and maintain COSHH data
  • Ensure all operatives keep their vehicles clean and tidy and wear corporate clothing
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and courteous behavior towards residents and clients
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grade C or above, including Maths and English (both at Grade B)
  • Strong organisational skills, including material ordering, multitasking, and time management
  • Appropriate CSCS card
  • Valid driving licence
  • SSSTS/SMSTS certificate valid, not expired
  • First Aid at Work certificate desirable
  • Fire Marshall certificate desirable
  • IPAF desirable
  • Pasma desirable
