Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pest Control Specialist to join our team at Tower Hamlets Partnership. As a key member of our Environmental Health and Trading Standards department, you will play a crucial role in providing a responsive and effective Pest Control Service to our community.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to the delivery of our core services and values. You will be responsible for investigating pest control issues within residential properties, conducting thorough investigations, and implementing effective solutions to prevent future occurrences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide expert advice and guidance on pest control matters to residents, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • To investigate pest control complaints and conduct thorough site assessments to identify the root causes of pest infestations.
  • To implement effective pest control measures, including the use of traps, baiting systems, and other approved methods.
  • To maintain accurate records of all pest control activities, including complaint resolution, treatment schedules, and inspection reports.
  • To work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and address any emerging issues.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in pest control, preferably with an RSPH Level 2 certificate or equivalent. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently, and have a flexible approach to problem-solving.
