Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Support Officer to join our team at West Midlands Police. This role will provide comprehensive secretarial and administration services to the Force Executive Team, supporting high-quality product delivery and building strategic partnerships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing administrative support to the Executive Team, including diary management, travel arrangements, and document preparation.
  • Coordinating meetings, events, and projects, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  • Analysing data and preparing reports, presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Working unsupervised, prioritising workload, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external.

Requirements:

  • Degree-level qualification in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a law enforcement or public sector organisation.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Strong IT literacy, including MS Office and core systems.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
