Cerebral Palsy Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Cerebral Palsy Support Professional to provide high-quality care and support to a young boy who lives at home with his family and beloved family dog. Our client requires a support worker with experience in both Cerebral Palsy and Brain Injury. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential due to the location of the client and the responsibilities involved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engaging with personalised routines inclusive of hoists.
- Completing daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility.
- Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
- Providing emotional support and companionship.
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients' conditions.
- Collaborating with a range of healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
- To be able to deal with challenging behaviours.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work the specified hours.

Training & Background Checks:
An enhanced DBS check and full training will be provided prior to commencing work with our client. You will also be supported by our clinical lead nurse for the area.
